Teacher in Native Language – Norwegian (F-9) at 50%

The Native Language Unit is responsible for the native language education and study guidance for multilingual children in primary school/special primary school.

We are now looking for a Teacher in Native Language – Norwegian (F-9) at 50% for a fixed-term employment starting from February 1 to June 15.

The work may be located at various workplaces in Östersund Municipality, which may require you to move during the workday. Lessons are usually scheduled in the afternoons.

The job cannot be performed remotely or from a distance.

Common Tasks

  • Planning and conducting native language lessons.
  • Grading.

Qualifications

We primarily seek qualified teachers. Your documented knowledge of the Swedish language should at least include completed studies in high school Swedish. For the position as a teacher with a focus on native language and study guidance in the native language, a Swedish teacher's degree is required. Your skills in the requested language must be at a native level.

It is important that you attach your CV and cover letter to your application; otherwise, the application will not be considered complete. Grades/certificates do not need to be sent with the application. This will be requested during a potential interview.
